Do I need experience to join the programme?
No. The Academy is designed for people who have passed CeMAP or an equivalent — wherever they studied — and are new to practising.
Does it matter where I studied CeMAP?
No. You’re welcome whichever provider you studied with — you don’t need to have used our CeMAP study aids, and you don’t need to repeat anything. You just need to have passed CeMAP (or an equivalent mortgage qualification).
When can I start working real cases?
Once you’ve passed the course and completed the partner firm’s eligibility checks and onboarding, leads are provided at no cost so you can start working real cases. Timing depends on onboarding and your own progress.
Is the programme online or in person?
The 10-day programme is delivered online, as live and interactive sessions with Dan and Ricky — not pre-recorded videos. You can join from anywhere.
What happens after the support period?
Dedicated support and mentoring runs for six months, and ongoing support is there whenever you need it after that. You continue as a self-employed adviser in the partner firm’s network, with its compliance and admin teams around you.
How much does it cost?
The Academy fee is £2,995. CeMAP isn’t part of it, so there’s nothing to deduct because you’ve already passed. As an adviser you work on a commission-share basis — your options, including any lower upfront fee arrangements, are explained in full and in writing before you commit.
Are CeMAP exam fees included?
No. Our CeMAP courses are study aids. You register and sit your exams with Walbrook Institute London (formerly LIBF), and exam fees are paid to them directly.
