Starting from scratch
From zero to
qualified mortgage adviser.
Two separate steps, one clear route: pass CeMAP (with our study aids or any provider), then join our live online Academy to learn the job and start advising with support.
The full journey
A clear path,
not a fragmented one.
Most people who want to become a mortgage adviser face a confusing path. You can study for CeMAP — but then what? How do you get clients? How do you get compliant? How do you actually start?
We make the route clear: study for CeMAP — our study aids are optional and open to anyone — then, once you’ve passed, join the Academy to train live online with active advisers and start working as an adviser.
Your route at a glance
- Step 1: pass CeMAP — our online study aids are optional (CeMAP 1 £159; CeMAP 2 & 3 £159) and open to anyone
- Step 2: once qualified, the Academy — 10 days of live online adviser training, including protection (£2,995, CeMAP not included)
- 6 months of dedicated support and mentoring, then ongoing support whenever you need it
- A guaranteed introduction to a self-employed adviser role with our partner firm, which provides leads at no cost*
How it works
Three stages to
your mortgage career.
Each stage builds on the last. You don’t just get trained — you get a route into the work.
Stage 01

- Study anywhere, anytime
Stage 02

- Client journey & fact-find
- Research & recommendation
- Protection advice
- Applications & case management
- Practice scenarios & assessment
Stage 03
Start advising

Two separate products. Our CeMAP study aids are open to anyone, with no Academy commitment. The Academy is for people who’ve passed CeMAP or an equivalent, wherever they studied — you don’t need our study aids. CeMAP exam fees are paid directly to Walbrook Institute London (formerly LIBF). The Academy fee doesn’t include CeMAP, so there’s nothing to deduct if you’re already qualified; any lower upfront fee arrangements are explained in full before you commit.
